Anchoring of equipment
Rampline’s anchoring solution for playground equipment requires a rather shallow foundation depth. The devices are attached with expansion bolts in concrete foundations. The solutions is strong as well as practical and provides easy mounting and removing.
The thickness of the concrete foundation is usually only 20 cm*, but it can in some cases be reduced further. Please contact us for more information.
*The required foundation thickness for each piece of equipment is stated under technical information on the relevant product page.

Anchoring when using a unitary ground cover
Rampline’s standard anchoring solution involves a concrete foundation with a thickness of only 20 cm. When a unitary ground cover is to be used, such as wet pour rubber or cork, the equipment is attached directly to the foundation with expansion bolts.
This anchoring solution gives a stable attachment that also provides good access in the event of replacement or repair of individual parts.
Total depth: 26 cm (20 cm concrete, 6 cm wet pour ground cover).

Anchoring with loose-fill ground covers
Most of our equipment can be delivered for mounting with 25-30 cm loose ground covers such as grass, wood chips, sand, etc. Because the foundation requires to be placed deeper in the ground than with a unitary ground cover an extension device may be needed which is attached to the concrete foundation with expansion bolts.
This anchoring solution gives a stable attachment that also provides good access in the event of replacement or repair of individual parts.
Total depth: 50 cm (20 cm concrete, 30 cm ground cover).

Anchoring on roofs
When mounting equipment on eg roof terraces with an underlying membrane, there is usually less depth available for foundation. Rampline’s standard anchoring option with a 20 cm concrete foundation thickness will in most cases work well for mounting equipment on roofs.
If the need should arise for an even lower foundation depth Rampline can provide solutions for this too.
The street concept – no need for digging
Rampline has also developed the unique Street motor skill park concept. The Street motor skill parks can be placed in streets and urban spaces – almost everywhere. There is no need for concrete foundations or digging in the ground. Street playgrounds are solid and popular and attractive for all age groups.
