A Gathering Place for everyone

Hareid municipality has given its city center a boost with its new shared street – an excellent upgrade of Kjøpmannsgata, that facilitates more community life, meeting places, commerce, and activity.

Featuring an activity park that includes a Motor Skill Park™ from Rampline, as well as exercise equipment for adults, sound sculptures, and stylish seating benches, this has become a well-rounded meeting place. There is something here for the youngest as well as for youth and adults. Landscaping, attractive boundaries with curb stones, make the facility diverse and visually appealing.

Landscape architecture and detailed planning are by Norconsult Sunnmøre. The benches in the activity area are from Vestre, with the work carried out by Tilseth landscaping and contracting.
